Here is my plan for the summer and fall seasons.
My own horses will come to some, but not all of them.
Events that seem like strange choices are on the list because I need them to qualify for fall three-days.

Advice for those of you aiming for CCIs:
1. Register yourselves and your horses online with the FEI.
2. Study the qualification requirements for your level.
3. Study the veterinary requirements for FEI events (vaccination records as well as much more restrictive drug rules).
4. Design an event schedule that gives you extra events at which to qualify in case you need more time than expected. One lost shoe or cancelled event should not mean you miss your three-day!
5. Plan to double enter on important weekends – for example, I will enter Stuart and Maryland on the same weekend to ensure that I actually get in. I will scratch from one before closing date.
